Celebrating the 400th anniversary of the publication of Sidereus Nuncius, Galileo's first observations through a telescope, on 3/16/10 hackers installed planets and a display plaque in the Green Building (Building 54, Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Sciences), an asteroid belt on the 8th floor, and the moon and Earth on the 9th. Orbiting around Jupiter was a tiny replica of the Galileo probe.
